The 7th July, 2007 or 07:07:07 in short is attracting so much attention. Triple seven sounds nice and pretty. There is so much excitement on this day. I am going to be very busy. I have 3 wedding dinner receptions to attend and 2 shows to catch on the cable TV.

On this day, we will know the results of the New Seven Wonders of The World and Live Earth Concert will go on for 24 hours. The New Seven Wonders of The World proclamation will be held in Lisbon, Spain. Whereelse, Live Earth Concerts are being hosted in most countries around the world. Thousands of artists will be performing for free to campaign to same the mother earth

When we were kids, we were entertained by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I didn’t know the names of the dwarf until I was an adult. I guess I did not have much interest in Snow White then. They are Dopey, Grumpy, Doc, Happy, Bashful, Sneezy and Sleepy. I can only remember the evil stepmother with her magic mirror, the kind hunter who spared the life of Snow White, poison apple and Princ Charming who came in a white horse and kissed Snow White to wake her up from her slumber.

In the game of Rugby, the seven series has brought so much excitement to the game. Who can forget the exploits of Jonah Lomu from New Zealand and Waisale Serevi from Fiji who dominated the game in the 90’s. This mini version of Rugby is played over two 7 minute halves. Even the time for the same is short, the excitement is plentiful. Rugby Seven has gain so much following that it is being held in a carnival like atmosphere.

A few of my friends decided to climb Mount Kinabalu, highest mountain in South East Asia, and plan to summit it on 7th July 2007 at 7 AM. I can imagine the Low’s Peak will be super crowded with climbers wanting to touch the board marking the summit of Mount Kinabalu. 

And around the neighborhood stores, the Seven-Eleven who provides us groceries 24 hours a day.

That’s all about Seven that I can think of. Did I missed out anything interesting?

Next year, we will have 8th of August 2008 or 08:08:08. We can expect many marriages among the Chinese and perhaps, many babies will come to this world on this auspicious day.
