Owning a house gives me a very nice feeling. The bigger or nicer the house, I guess one will feel even better. I would love to have a bigger house if I have the money. Owning a house means having to foot all the repair bills that comes with the house too.
After staying in my present house for about eight years, I decided to do some renovation to my house two years ago. Everything went fine except for a leakage in one of the walls that is causing the paint to peel off. This has been going on for the past two years. Since it was plastered, there was no way to know the actual cause other than hacking the wall again. The contractor hacked the wall and opened a hole on the ceiling to gain access to the potential problem areas. He did some tests and found the actual cause of the problem. It was the joint between air-conditioner and a pipe that was not sealed properly.
Eventhough he has found the cause of the problem and fixed it, he still wanted to be doubly sure that there is not more leakage anywhere else. So, he left the hacking on the wall open for me to monitor if there is any more leakage. Now, I have to live with an ugly wall and a hole in my ceiling.
This will stay with me for at least another month. I am sure I can live with this since I have lived with ugly wall for the past two years.

I am sure it will be fixed permanently this time. But, the leak is not that bad. Only not pleasant to see the tarnished painwork.
