Friend looking for CRM software

December 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

I just met up with a friend, Frankie, over the weekend catching up on old times. We are friends for a long time and both of us are in ITC industry. We used to share ITC tips with each other on how to improve our workplace environment. This occasion, we talked a lot about CRM solutions. Well, CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management.

He shared with me that he has been looking for a CRM expert to work for his company. His company is planning to use CRM software to track business leads and turn these leads into business deals. He believed that his sales team has encountered many opportunities in the marketplace which they did not follow-up to convert them into real business deals.

He was looking for CRM software with lots of functionalities and cheap. He has limited budget to implement CRM for his business, which is still in infancy stage. Hence, he wanted to look for a CRM software that is cheap to implement and easy to support. For this, he was planning to use on-demand web-based CRM software instead of hosting it in his office on expensive servers.

He wanted the CRM software to help him manage business leads, provide intelligent reporting and sales force automation plus quality support via phone and email.

He seems to have made up his mind on his choice of CRM software to use for his company unless I can suggest better alternatives.
