Air Asia is flying to Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia. This is really a good news for me. The last time I went to Brisbane was 12 years ago. I missed the place so much and I long to go back there again. Low cost flight is all I need to make my dream come true. Beside low cost flights, I need to look for cheap hotels.

When I was there, it was in winter and I missed the fun at Gold Coast. The Gold Coast beach was literally empty. The wind was strong and cold. Local people told me that it came from south which was cold. So, people avoided the beach. Visiting Gold Coast with an empty beach is like not having a real vacation in Gold Coast. So, I vowed to return to Gold Coast again but not during winter season.

My trip to Gold Coast started from Brisbane where I rented a car and drove to Gold Coast where I checked into one of the Gold Coast hotels. The short 90km journey took me a whole day as I stopped over at Warner Brothers’ Movie World and Dream World before reaching Gold Coast.

On my return journey from Gold Coast to Brisbane, I was all ready to get wet. Wind is not cold. Weather was nice and warm. I stopped over at Sea World and Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World and had so much fun there.
