School vacation has started. Some kids have gone off for vacation with their family. For me, my kid is staying at home. We will only bring her for a short vacation in Bandung around Christmas. To keep her occupied, I decided to hire a tutor to spend time with her twice a week to keep her busy with some educational stuff.

This tutor will spend time with her on Chinese language especially on reading, writing and conversational skills. This is just a revision from her school. I can guide her on mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia and English language on my own. However, finding the time in the evening after work is the most challenging part. Since I am only back home in the evening, my gal is more keen to spend time playing with me rather than to do something serious like learning from school books. I have to think of creative ways to get her sit and learn from me.

If she is older and can manage herself better, I can sign up online tutoring like TutorVista to assist her.
