Last week, my friend’s house was broken in by some thieves at about 8PM. Fortunately, my friend was still not back yet and her family was not at home. She was still on the way back from office. Luckily for her, the thieves realized the neighbors noticed their presence in my friend’s house. They quickly ransacked her house and left. She lost some of her jewelry and cash. Most importantly, her family was not harmed.

After going through the whole process of making police report and clearing up the mess left behind by the thieves, reality started to sink it about personal safety. She was worried if the thieves would return again for more since they did not manage to ransack her whole house.
She was thinking of installing more safety devices in her house like CCTV, more locks and installs more grills. She was planning to equip her room with sticks but she was worried if the thieves would use the sticks on her. The she decided to take up martial art for self defense.
She started to read up about close combat training in the Captain Chris’ Close Combat website and begin to see the truth about martial arts in self defense. She is now very fascinated about self defense and has signed up for classes.
