I will take a short break from blogging to go for a short vacation in Bandung. Besides shopping and enjoying all the good food, I am going to get myself soaked in Non-Aligned Movement spirit by taking the historic walk from Savoy Homann Hotel to Merdeka Building. This route is known as Jalan Asia-Africa. This was the route taken by the leaders - Indonesian President Sukarno, Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, Burmese Prime Minister U Nu, Cambodia’s Prince Sihanouk and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Van Dong - during the Bandung Conference on April 18, 1955.
