Another neighbor is renovating his house. He is a new comer to the neighborhood. He bought the house from the previous owner whom I knew very well. The previous owner has upgraded and moved to a semi-detached house. This is the fourth house within my block that is under going major renovation.
The new owner has a grand plan to renovate the house to achieve his dream house. When the renovation started, the contractor moved his team and equipments in. Prior to this, his team constructed a very nice shed to provide shelter for the workers who work under the rain and shine.
I got curious and approached the contractor to find out more about his shed. He was kind enough to introduce to me his other business other than doing construction work. He has a business that builds carports, metal buildings and steel buildings for various purposes. He even showed me an album contains photographs of all the carports, metal and steel building he has constructed since he started business 5 years ago.
Eventually, he gave me his business card and offered me discounts if I decide to procure any services from him. That’s the business instinct in him as a businessman to detect any possible business opportunity, however remote it may be.
