I have just finished chatting with my sister in law in England via Skype. She reminded me of my previous trip to London in 2003 which is 4 years ago. So, the expected question like “When will you visit London again?” cropped up. My wife and I stayed with her at Belper near Manchester. This time, she asked us to bring our daughter to visit them. We did not bring our daughter along previously because she was too young.
She offered us a place to stay at her home and this will save us a lot. No need to check into any hotels in Manchester. She also promised to bring us to visit Sherwood Forest in Nottingham and visit Lake District.

She also reminded us of our promise to bring our daughter to visit her in England. In our previous trip, we deliberately skipped many London’s attractions like British Airways London Eye, Madame Tussauds, London Zoo and Kew Garden so that we can visit them for the first time with our daughter. She also reminded me of the latest attraction at the London O2 Center. Tutankhamum is on display at the London O2 Center for November 2007 till August 2008. However, I have to politely tell her I just ‘visited’ Tutankhamun in Cairo Museum and also, his grave in Valley Of The Kings in Luxor, Egypt. With or without Tutankhamun, I will still visit London because it has so many attractions. I can easily book cheap accommodation via the internet at one of the hotels in London.
She recommended us to visit Birmingham. One of the places of interest to visit is Cadbury World. She thinks my daughter will be fascinated with the opportunity to create her own unique chocolate by combining liquid chocolate with beans, nuts and jellies of her choice. According to her, hotels in Birmingham are affordable and easy to book via internet.
I am now planning to visit her in September next year. Very likely I will be flying there on Emirates or Qatar Air or any other more affordable airlines. Now, it’s time for detail planning and save some money for the trip.

Belper is near Derby/ Nottingham lah. It’s near the Peak District, which is quite a pretty area and not as crowded as the Lakes. It’s also not far from where I live (south of Mcr) so if you want to visit me better let me know early :D
Leslie: I will definitely visit you. What’s the best place for lunch at your area? :p

Why don’t you come end of October, and then join me diving in Red Sea from 1 -8, November, 2008.? We are flying from Gatwick Airport to Sharm El-Sheikh.
Leslie: I love to go diving at Sharm El-Sheikh. But, the timing is to suitable for me. Maybe we can go diving at another place later.
