Ramadan has started from today. I always like Ramadan since I was a kid. I am not a Muslim so I do not fast. It was simply them month where I can buy lots of nice traditional food and cakes. Teatime is always the best during Ramadan.
I love dates too. Nowadays, we can get so many varieties of dates imported from Middle Eastern countries such as Damascus, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc.
Next best thing is the breaking fast dinner at the hotels and restaurants. I like joining Muslim friends and staff to break fast at these places. The company and food are simply too good to miss.
In office, I will try not to eat or drink in front of my Muslim colleagues out of respect. They told me that they do not mind but I simply try not to do it.
At the end of Ramadan, I am sure I will put on some weight as usual. The food is simply to good to miss :)
Happy Fasting to my Muslim friends!
