Mobile phones are so common nowadays. Everyone carries a mobile phone. Even school kids have them too. Mobile phones are not only used a phone, they have so many features due to convergence of technologies. Today, mobile phones have features like phone, SMS, MMS, video phone, email, GPS, PDA, etc, etc. One simply cannot live without their beloved mobile phone.

For me, I stick to the basic features of mobile phones like phone and sms. I used a lot of phonebook and calendaring as well. One other feature that I like is the ringtone. Modern mobile phones have better sound system built in. With such great sound, I can opt to have polyphonic ringtones as my mobile phone ringtone. There are free ringtones as well as paid ones.

When I was In Egypt, my tour guide was using a ringtone which was a muslim prayer call. I find it interesting that even prayer calls have found their place in our mobile phone. These ringtones are easily loaded into the mobile phones. I can choose any of the ringtones that I fancy such as hip hop ringtones, dance ringtones or even sound ringtones. The list is simply endless.

Today, I have a  ringtone which is a Chinese song entitled “Yin Xin De Zi Pang”. Maybe, the next ringtones, I will download it from a free ringtones site.
