Resort World has expanded its Genting Express bus service to 1-Utama shopping mall recently. One way journey to Genting Highlands, inclusive of Skyway cable car, costs only Rm6.80. This is definitely cheaper than to drive all the way to Genting Highlands. I wouldn’t mind bringing my kid to Genting Highlands more often as this is an economical, fast and convenient way getting to Genting Highlands for a short vacation.

While my daughter loves the outdoor and indoor theme parks, my spouse loves the entertainment and shows but I like to spend time exploring the games in casino which Genting Highlands is famous for. Just walking inside the casino and observing the behavior of the players are so amusing. There are players who will play until they fall asleep inside the casino. Strangely, these people will have money to play the games but will not pay for a hotel room.

In term of games, most of the games are dependant on the croupiers to throw the dices and seal the fate for you. This is not something that I like. I hate leaving my fate in the hands of anyone. A game like blackjack is more interesting where the players can decide how to play their game. At least, if you win or loose, you will feel that you made the decision and not leave it in someone else’s hands.

Before even playing the real game, I usually will practice a few free blackjack games which are available online. Well, I am not a regular to Genting Highlands so I need to polish my skills before I invest.
